In September, the heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Latvia went on their annual regional tour. This year to Vidzeme, including Smiltene, Alūksne, Stāmeriena, and Gulbene. The ambassadors gained an insight into the region’s cultural history and its business and tourism opportunities. CEWOOD was one of the companies that was invited to represent business and manufacturing in the Alūksne municipality. More than 60 participants participated in the tour.

At the Alūksne Culture Centre, the ambassadors were welcomed by the Chairman of the Alūksne Municipal Council, Dzintars Adlers. As one of the most important companies and one of the largest employers in the Alūksne municipality, CEWOOD was invited to present the company to the ambassadors. CEWOOD was very proud to represent the businesses of the region, our factory and shared the story of manufacturing, market, sales and future of wood wool panels.
